She's Back!

Daisy (aka CH Rustic Lane Dixie Daisy) has returned from her adventures in Atlanta and the frozen north (Nova Scotia), where she was expertly cared for by our good friends, Donna Young (Absolut),  Wendy and Amanda Kelly (Fwaggle), respectively.   During her stays, Daisy produced two high quality litters by CH Ebet's Absolut Cosmopolitan and AM CH/Can Gr. CH Burmack Gaenja's Crusader at Fwaggle. 

We're thrilled to have Daisy home where she's fallen back into being "Daddy's Little Girl."   People have asked us why we chose for Daisy to leave home and be bred by our respective partners.  The answer is that the long-term best interest of the breed would not be served by a girl of her quality sitting idle.  We breed one litter a year, ourselves, due to time and energy constraints, primarily.  The MT is too small a breed for quality to be wasted.

While we don't advocate overbreeding a dam, by any stretch of the imagination, we do understand that quality dogs need to be bred.  Collaboration with other breeders allows us to do that.  We work with breeders who we trust implicitly with the health and well being of the dogs involved. This photo of Daisy was taken 12 weeks after the birth of her 2nd litter -- in show condition, already. Each breeding we undertake, alone or with co-breeders, has as its #1 priority the health and well-being of the dam.
